U.S. stock futures higher as fresh input awaited

U.S. stock futures were higher tuesday ahead of fresh economic data . Lower oil prices shrugged off as the outlook for U.S. rates remains unclear .

The Dow futures was up 0.25% at 06:15 ET , while the S&P 500 futures added 0.24% . 

The tech - heavy Nasdaq futures put on 0.30.

U.S. new home sales figures for july are due out later in the session . Monasto ( NYSE:MON ) was up 3,9% in pre -  market trade on reports Bayer ( DE:BAYGN ) deal closer
